Hi everyone,
We've done so much in the past couple weeks that I've fallen behind updating the blog. So, here's a quick synopsis of the new stuff in the store...but I'm bound to miss something, so please make a trip to the shop and see for yourself!

I guess it's about time that I wrote something as opposed to just posting when I release new stuff. Yesterday, I decided again that I was going to make some hair. I've tried multiple times following one tutorial or another (like: Natalia Zemanov's, but always ended up with something that really just wasn't satisfactory. Not that the tutorial wasn't good, but I think I just needed more practice. I've been away from SL for a year now, and coming back perhaps has given me some fresh eyes, and renewed energy --yay!

So, this time, no tutorial. I did look at a few simple hair styles from one of my favorite hair designers, Tigerlily Koi of Calla hair just to get an idea of how to get started. In the end, I came away with three different styles, all of which I would say passed the test as good enough to be given away :) I'm not sure they are ready for retail, but they are ready enough to be part of a dollarbie pack (which is exactly what I did!)

The hardest part, and I think I'll keep struggling with this is to figure out how to do the front...bangs or no bangs. And either way, how to make it look OK. I think I need to make some new textures to help because relying on pure prims just isn't going to do it! Regardless, here's a shot of one of the successes! I'll get all three set up in the store for people to test out.

Been a long time since I've posted or released anything new in the store. I'm happy to be back. I hope that I'll be able to return to my previous schedule of something new at least each week. I have put out two new shapes this week, and I've bundled them with a skin and a pair of eyes. Heather, Heather BBW, Ingrid, and Ingrid BBW are available in the main store on Givenchi.

I've also dropped prices on all shapes and skins. Shapes are now only 100L and Sinsation skins are now only 200L. Shape/Skin packages are 250L.

Exciting releases at the store. This week we've released two new lines of skins, the Sinsation Light skin for women and the Sinsation Ganguro Skin for women. The Sinsation Light skins, like the first Sinsation skins for women have 9 different make up styles, and 3 packs and a Fat Pack of all 9 are available. The new Ganguro skins are based on the original Sinsation skin. These unique skins are created in the popular Ganguro style, popular in Japan. Come check them out!

The Sinsation Light Skin is also available for a limited time in a special Relay For Life version.

Men, don't despair, another new shape is now available for men as well. Yvon joins the growing number of male shapes on the 3rd floor.

Do not change the "Your Name" field so that we have your full avatar name with your entry. Use "Babe of the Month" for the Subject. In the message, please include the following information:

1) Name of your Bodies by Oh! shape (ie Elizabeth, Jennifer, etc.)

5) Clothing and accessories that complete your outfit.

Incomplete entries may be discarded as well multiple entries from the same avatar in the same month. Entries received after the finalists are posted will be considered for the next month's contest.

Winners:
The finalist that receives the most votes is the winner and will be the Bodies by Oh! Babe of the Month. Each month's winner will 1) be displayed on the Bodies by Oh! Babe of the Month Wall of Fame, 2) be entered into the Bodies by Oh! Babe of the Year contest, and 3) win a cash prize of Lindens equal to the number of votes received (maximum prize 5000L).

Voting:
Voting is open from the date of posting until the last day of the month, midnight SLT.
You may vote once per day at both the Kitaro and Givenchi locations. If you are a finalist, encourage all your friends to vote too. The more votes you receive the greater the chance you win, and the higher your cash prize if you win!

Hint:
We ask you to use the Send Postcard feature to ensure that you do not touch up your entry with an image editing photo like Photoshop. That doesn't mean you can't do all and anything possible in SL to create your look, outfit, and the setting in which you take your postcard. "Dream" high heel shoes

I've been spending a lot of time lately thinking up new shapes, and I had not made a new pair of shoes (if you don't count the boots!) in awhile. This weekend, I set out to create some new heels, and the Dream high heels are the result. I made two styles of the Dream heels, round and pointy toes. I'm still working on creating different textures for them, but as an introduction, I've made them available in three colors, red, blue, and black. More to come soon!

I'm a terrible blogger. I'll start with that. But, my best excuse is I've been busy learning new things like how to make shoes and how to make clothing. I won't say that I'm done learning, but my first efforts are available in my stores. To help highlight the shoes, I've opened a new footwear-friendly mall. Say that ten times fast! We will be holding a grand opening this weekend, December 15-16 at the new Stilettos Mall in Boksunga. All weekend, footwear designers will be donating some or all of their sales at Stilettos Mall to Coats for Kids. Thanks again to Sexxy DejaVu for organizing the inworld donation boxes!

I've also been busy working with two friends who are helping me with new shape designs. Together, we've opened a new branch of Bodies by Oh! called Innocence. Shapes for Innocence are designed to make you look young again. We like to say, "be eighteen again...forever". I've ignored this blog for too long, and my friend Luna Jubilee tagged me with a bloggers chain letter. Who am I to break the chain?

The Rules

My eight random facts
1. I love crunchy food. Chips, nuts, popcorn, you name it. Too bad you can't trim your waist in RL as easily as you can in SL.
2. I play with my hair all the time. Usually I don't even realize I'm doing it, but usually, you'll find me with one hand in my hair, twisting it around a finger.
3. I have closet full of shoes, including numerous pairs I've actually never worn out, but I had to have them, so I bought them.
4. The tallest heels I have are 4 1/4 inches, and I've taught myself to dance in them.
5. I'm allergic to cats, but I love them anyway. I don't have one, because I'd probably sneeze to death, but when I'm at anyone's home with a cat, I can't stop myself from playing with it.
6. My favorite season is the fall. I love to watch the leaves turning, and the feel of the crisp cool air.
7. I travel too much.
8. I'm in my 30s...and I'm not planning on getting any older.

With the grid down, I find myself with time on my hands that I usually spend inworld managing the store and other affairs. Its been too long since I last posted to this little blog. Not sure if anyone at all even reads this since there is little here except updates. Perhaps I need to start writing more here than just store updates!

Anyway, here are the updates.

The Kitaro store and Mall have been expanded significantly. With the disappearance of our neighbor and his mall, I have added another 4096 sq meters to the mall, rebuilt the store, and built a number of new stores creating a more open and easy to navigate space. Along with the new store space, Bodies by Oh! has also formed a new partnership with Jolie Femme, designers of skins, hair, eyes, and clothing. Bodies by Oh! will now distribute Jolie Femme's Sophie skin. Please stop by the store to see the new skins. They are beautiful!

I have also purchased an island, Givenchi. On it, I have created a small, but wonderful retail plaza with 14 stores. Each is occupied by some of SL's most well known designers. We will celebrate the grand opening of the plaza with an even this weekend that includes appearances by many of these designers, including Alyssa Bijoux, Anna Adamant (Jewelry by Anna) Cherry Cheevers (Dolly Rock), Gabrielle Gateaux (Chez Gabrielle), Miriel Enfield, Mischief Parvenu (Freak Fantasia Fashions), and Sexyeyes Valkyrie (AFantasy Emporium). Of course, I'll be there too for as much as I can.

The mall at the Bodies by Oh! store in Kitaro is filled with lots of other great stores including Alyssa Bijoux Jewelry, ShadoWiccan Designs, SexyEyes Valkerie's AFantasy Emporium, Loki PopinJay Tattoos, Dee's Designs, Wiccan Soujourner's Bewitched, Girls Corner Designs, Sigma Chi, and more!. To celebrate the successful launch of the store and mall, I'm throwing a party! Inspired by one of the stores in the mall, Business in a Box, run by Jonelle Oh, the theme of the party will be a 1970s roller skating disco party. She's got some great roller skates for sale in her store that are too much fun! So, please stop by on Saturday, May 26 at 10am to 12 noon PDT at the mall. Bring your own skates or pick some up at Jonelle's store. DJ Shandy Stradling will be spinning the virtual vinly for your dancing and skating pleasure!

Hi everyone,
So much has been going on at the new store. I've built and opened a new Mens store next to the Womens store. I now have 20 different female shapes to choose from and 8 different male shapes. Just yesterday, I now have 8 female skins available for you. In addition, I have 3 great male skins.

I'm really happy to report that the female bbw shapes ar selling well. So not all of SL is made up of super model body types ;-)

I've built a mall down below the store. There are 7 shops just downstairs. 6 of 7 are rented right now featuring a variety of goods and services, including German/English translation services. Down the path, I also built a larger mall that has 9 store spaces, 6 of 9 are rented. If you are looking for a store location, please come check it out! The stores have high prim counts and low prices. I've acquired more land next to the store, and I plan to expand more and build more retail space both for Bodies by Oh!, but also for rent.

I was told by a customer today that they read about the store in someone's blog. I'm trying to find it, but haven't had any luck yet. If you see the post, please let me know where it is!
